People are always looking for ways to have fun when it comes to ways of revealing pregnancy or gender. Some people get really creative & bake cakes, do videos, take radom pictures, do scavenger hunts, etc. I am partial to a gender reveal session.

I did one a few months ago, you can check it out here, but I was ready for another one. Luckily, Amanda & Wes were game. For Amanda’s pregnancy with Lucas, they had a cake made with a blue inside, then had a HUGE reveal party. Opting for something a little more low key, they did a reveal session with me & a few members of their family.

For this reveal, I picked up a sealed envelope from Amanda (she & Wes were able to hold onto this envelope for an entire week without peeking) & as if they hadn’t waited long enough, I waited till the VERY END of the session for the reveal. I added both blue & pink balloons to the box & which ever color didn’t float away was the gender of their baby.
