Oddly enough, I am just as scared of horses as I am enthralled by them. They are an amazing example of the beauty in God’s creation. However, they are BIG and they kick. I haven’t spent a lot of time around horses, which would explain my hesitation. I haven’t fell off of one or been kicked by one, but even with a fence & a ditch separating us, I’m still nervous. I hope they can’t smell fear, cause if so, I reek.

One of my favorite things about horses is their outward display of strength. I love to watch them walk & move because the striations in their muscles never cease to amaze me. The next time you have a chance, watch a horse move around a pasture, unbridled, untamed; they will take your breath away.
